This year's Team Spirit Spring Tea was held on May 22nd in the Houssels Forum at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center. With well over 50 in attendance the afternoon was both enjoyable and informative.
Speakers included Sharon Gottfreid, Randal Snyder, Patti Brown, Holly Adams, Jim Normandin from LBMMF and Team Spirit's own Jacque Jones. Those in attendance heard first hand stories and accountings of what was done with all the money they worked so hard to raise for the 2009 Team Spirit Walk.
This year's Spring Tea also had Naja Tea has a sponsor for the first time. Naja Haweard, of Naja Tea, gave a fantastic presentation on the benefits and types of teas and everyone in attendance was able to brew and taste many of Naja Tea's at their tables.
